First book for 2019: Traitor by Jonathan de Shalit

When a young Israeli walks into an American embassy and offers to betray his country for money and power, he has no idea that the CIA agent interviewing him is a Russian mole. Years later, the Israeli has risen in the ranks to become a trusted advisor to Israel’s prime minister and throughout his career, he’s been forced to share everything with the Kremlin.

Looking Ahead: Reading & Running 2019 Goals

Looking Ahead: Reading & Running 2019 Goals

I wasn’t very active on the blog last year (Lazy Day Books).  My introvert game was strong!  I was also wanting to write about more than just books, but felt I should stay “on topic”, so then I ended up not writing much at all.  So, I spent some time developing this new site so that I could write about anything I wanted to, like reading, running, baking or even just post photos of pretty places.  I also copied over all of my old posts to this new site so I could have everything in one place and build on it.

Now that we’re in a new year, I’d like to get back to regular posting and explore some new topics.

New Release Tuesday: November 1

New Release Tuesday: November 1

I said this last week, too, but I really can’t believe November is here already! Where does the time go? It’s getting chilly outside- perfect weather for curling up on the sofa with a good book and a steamy cup of hot chocolate. Sounds cozy, right?

As always, this Tuesday brings a host of great new books, including some to get you in the holiday spirit!

Mozart’s Last Aria is one that initially drew my attention because the cover is so striking and pretty. I don’t know where she’s going, but I want to follow and find out! The description sounds really good, too, so this is one that will be moving to the top of my To Be Read Pile.
